Set Designer
An internationally acclaimed, multiple award-winning set and costume designer, Leslie’s work spans opera, theatre, dance, and musical productions on many of the world’s most prestigious stages. Renowned for his visual imagination and versatility across genres, Leslie Travers is widely regarded as one of the leading designers working in both opera and theatre today.
His extensive repertoire includes celebrated productions of Carmen (Welsh National Opera), La Bohème (Malmo Opera), Death of a Salesman (Manchester Royal Exchange), Twelfth Night (Manchester Royal Exchange), and Rebecca (Hall For Cornwall). He has also worked on major productions for K-Ballet Japan and other international ballet companies.
His recent honours include the What’s On Stage Award for Best Production for I Puritani, International Opera Award for Best Anniversary Production and Opera Event of the Year for Grimes on the Beach.
